Configer Bsnl Broadband Modem WA3002G4 For Plage & Play

Hi I am bsnl broadband home user.I have seen that many people get problem with configuring modem. So i am providing a Method to confider Bsnl Modem. I am Using WA3002G4
ADSL 2+ Modem/Router (4Ethernet + 1WI-FI) model.

1. Open your browser and write in the URL http://192.168.1.1/

The Browser will ask User name and Password. By Default (in case of WA3002G4 Modem) User Name Is admin and Password id admin.2.Enter The User Name & Password then click on Ok .3.Click On Advance Setup .

4.Select All check button in Remove COLM and click on remove Button.

5.Press F5 to refresh the Page.

6.There will be a new option called Quick Setup click on it.7.Click On next button.

8. select PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE) Option and click on Ok button.
9.Enter Username And Password. Make blank PPPoE Service Name: Box. Select Bridge PPPoE Frames Between WAN and Local Ports (Default Enabled).

Click on Next Button.

9.Select Enable NAT ,Enable Firewall,Enable WAN Service And click on next.

10.click on next.

11.click on next.
11.click on Save/Reboot Button

NOTE: The configuration process takes about 1 minute to complete and your DSL Router will reboot.

Windows XP: Make new connection wizard (PPPoE)

1.Click on the Start button

2.Choose Control Panel 3.Click on Network and Internet Connections 4.Under the "or pick a Control Panel icon", click on Network Connections

5.In the Network Tasks section on the left, click on Create a new connection Click 6.Click Next to proceed. 7.Make sure the dot is next to Connect to the Internet 8.Click Next

9.Choose Set up my connection manually
10.Click Next

11.Type ISP name (Ex: DataOne) in the ISP Name box

13.Click Next

14.Type your Username ( Ex: username@dataone.com ) in the User name box

15.Carefully type your password in the Password box and again in the Confirm Password box

16.Make sure the top two boxes are checked

17.Uncheck Turn on Internet Connection Firewall...

19.Click Next

20.Check Add a shortcut to this connection... if you want a shortcut placed on your desktop

21.Click Finish

22.The new PPPoE connection will appear in the Network Connections window:

23.Double Click the PPPoE icon.
24.Click Connect to connect to the Internet.
